Dog Rescued In Whiting Structure Fire: FD A dog was rescued after a garage caught fire in Whiting on Friday, Dec. 26, authorities said. At 6:27 p.m., firefighters responded to a garage fire in Fox Hollow, Whiting Fire Company Station 33 said. Nearby neighbors used a fire extinguisher to help slow the fire's spread, firefighters said.
